The Best Footbath, EVER
The BawdyBabes spend A LOT of time on their feet (especially when we’re on the road). We’d love to share our favorite way to make the foot soreness go away. We use mugwort because it promotes relaxation and sleep. Plus, it is a topical anesthetic with antibacterial and antifungal properties. The salt improves circulation, soothes irritated skin, eases muscular pain and feels heavenly.
⅓ cup Epsom Salt
⅓ cup Mugwort
2 tablespoons coconut oil (or your favorite oil)
5 drops of your favorite essential oils (we use lavender, lemon, and tea tree)
Combine all ingredients in a footbath, add hot water and soak for 15-20 minutes. If you do not want the mess of loose leaves, make a simple tea bag for the mugwort by filling a cheesecloth or muslin bag.
